Our Flavour Philosophy
The POPZ Lab follows a very simple rule:If it sounds a little ridiculous, it’s probably worth trying. Bubblegum soda? Candy cane fizz? Orange marmalade pop? Most of our favourite flavours started life as ideas that probably shouldn’t work, but sometimes the strangest ideas turn out to be the best ones.
The Madcap Experiment Room
This is where the real fun happens.
Picture shelves filled with strange ingredients, jars of colourful syrups, scribbled flavour sketches, and a whiteboard full of ideas that range from “maybe brilliant” to “absolutely insane.” Some experiments fail spectacularly. Some become POPZ, and every now and then, we discover something that makes us all stop and say: “That’s actually amazing.”
Our Chief Tasting Panel
Every laboratory needs testers. Ours includes a rotating team of flavour explorers, curious taste-testers and – from time to time – a few highly opinionated penguins. They take their job very seriously, especially when bubblegum is involved.
The POPZ Penguin
Rumour has it that the POPZ Laboratory was originally discovered by a curious penguin who wandered in looking for something cold and fizzy. He never left. Today, the POPZ Penguin keeps a watchful eye over the flavour experiments and occasionally offers highly questionable advice. But he does have a good nose for a great soda.
Experimental Flavours
Not every flavour makes it into the world. Some remain safely inside the lab. But every now and then we release something unexpected – a flavour born from one of our more adventurous experiments. These are the drinks that make POPZ… POPZ.
